How to combine PDF files
- Select two or more PDFs, up to 50 MB per file.
- Check the file list before you start: the listed order is the page order in the combined PDF. To change it, remove a file and add it again.
- Select “Merge PDFs” and save the downloaded copy. Your original files are not changed.
When merging is useful
Put a cover page, several forms, and supporting pages into one file before sharing them. If you need only part of a document, first extract the relevant pages, then merge the resulting PDF with your other files.
Common questions
Will merging shrink the file?
No. This tool combines pages; it does not compress images or guarantee a smaller file. The combined PDF can be larger than either source.
Can it merge a locked or damaged PDF?
Password-protected or damaged files may fail to open. This tool does not remove passwords or repair files. Use a readable copy that you are authorized to edit.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The selected PDFs are processed in your browser. If you need text rather than a combined PDF, use the separate PDF text preview; scanned pages need OCR and will not yield readable text here.
