How to fix a sideways PDF
- Choose one PDF, up to 50 MB.
- Select 90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise. The same change applies to every page.
- Select “Rotate PDF” and inspect the downloaded copy. The original PDF remains unchanged.
Choose the right rotation
If every page is sideways in the same direction, start with a 90° turn. If every page is upside down, use 180°. A page that already has rotation receives your new turn in addition to its current orientation.
Common questions
Can I rotate just one page?
Not with this tool: it turns every page equally. If you need only a subset, first extract those pages, rotate that new PDF, and then merge files as needed. This workflow may not preserve the original page order automatically, so review the result.
Will it straighten tilted scanned text?
No. A 90° or 180° page rotation is different from deskewing a slightly tilted scan. This tool also does not perform OCR or change text inside the PDF.
